The shooter with a legal history fit for a game in itself, EA and Respawn's Titanfall finally has a release date "exclusively" for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall,” said Vince Zampella, a Co-Creator of Call of Duty and Co-Founder of Respawn Entertainment." Yes, EA managed to get a Call of Duty reference in there even if the company is ensuring that its game comes out with plenty of space between it and Activision's might CoD. So, when is it?
March 11th 2014 is when. So, what's with this price?
"In addition to the standard edition of the game, the Titanfall: Collector's Edition (SRP £249.99), will include an exclusive collectible 18” hand-crafted Atlas titan statue with diorama and battery-powered LED lighting, a full-size art book featuring more than 190 pages of rare concept art, and an exclusive full-size schematic poster of the Atlas titan. Gamers who pre-order either the standard or collector’s edition of Titanfall will receive a limited edition poster at participating retailers."
£250? For a game, a book, a diorama, a statue and a poster? £250? WTF?
