FIFA 14 has knocked Grand Theft Auto V from the top spot of the UK Videogames charts, despite the latter having the biggest ever game launch in the UK.FIFA 14 is down on the performance of
FIFA 13 by about 24% in volume, though. Chart-Track
points to all the cash handed over for
GTA V last week and the impending launch of next-gen versions of
FIFA 14 as possible contributing factors.
GTA V took an 83% drop in sales as it fell to Number 2. Chart-Track points out, however, that "even with such a drop this week 2 number is equivalent to being the 18th biggest week if ranked against week 1 sales of any other games ever released."
