Sega of Japan has announced plans to bring a whole heap of classic Sega games to Xbox in the next twelve months. This news follows the revelation that the PlayStation 2 will receive a similar blessing at some point in 2002.
Sega has stated that it will be re-releasing games previously seen on Saturn, Dreamcast and MegaDrive. This means that Sega has now committed to releasing games from its impressive portfolio for Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance, all very welcome news.
There has been widespread speculation that Sega might be putting together producer sets, featuring collections from the likes of Yu Suzuki and Yuji Naka. All will no doubt be explained at E3.
