Sony has shown off a phone App which will be available for both iOS and Android that enables gamers to download games not to their phones... but to the forthcoming PS4. Check out the video below.
According to a report from TGS, "It will put the PS4's social feed, which keeps a record of your friends' recent gameplay activity, onto your smartphone. You'll be able to use PlayStation app to send and receive text and voice messages, queue up PlayStation store content to download to your console, without having to take over the TV.
"Second screen content and touch-controlled gameplay will be possible once you press the "connect to PS4" button, in a similar manner to Smartglass on Microsoft's rival Xbox One."
In other news, Reuters
reports that, "Sony Corp expects its PlayStation 4 game console to become profitable in much less time than the four years it took the PS3, the head of Sony's game unit said on Thursday.
"(Playstation boss) Andrew House told Reuters in an interview that the price of the PS4 is attractive and that he expects this to drive sales."
