Real Madrid Transfer Won't Knock Gareth Bale from FIFA 14 Cover

EA has said that it will stick with Gareth Bale as its UK cover star for FIFA 14, despite his £85.3m transfer from Tottenham Hotspurs to Real Madrid over the weekend.
EA tends to pick a Premier League star to appear on the game's cover in the UK, so might have opted to look elsewhere given the news.
An EA spokesperson told EA, however, that, "Gareth Bale remains the FIFA 14 UK cover star alongside Lionel Messi. In light of his recent transfer we are working closely with his management and we will have an update soon."
The 'update' presumably, will involve a change in the kit Bale's wearing on the cover.
