Sony lays its gaming future on the line in Germany
Sony started its gamescom 2013 presentation with a view of the new Playstation GUI. Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, for gaming also expressed how honoured he felt to be in Cologne... and a bloke in a chair.
Before we get to that, be aware that Twitch TV is coming to PS4... as are 15 launch exclusives, as is a tweaked version of Music Unlimited. Big news is also that BT,Virgin, Ono and Deutsche Telecom are teaming up with Sony to provide broadband deals that include reserved 'gaming' bandwidth.
Yes, there's more: a free 14 day PlayStation Plus trial for PS4 users. New PS3 users signing up now will get a 90 day extension.
Oh, yes, Minecraft is finally coming to Playstation too... well, Playstation 4 actually.
