Japanese gamers who have been enjoying colourful MMO Dragon Quest X on Wii U will have another means to play soon enough, as Square Enix has announced that a PC version is due to be released in the coming months.Although the publisher mentioned on a livestream event that the home computer edition won't be ready for public use until September, anyone who has a decent enough rig will be able to apply for the beta version. In order to do so though, potential players must
download and run the benchmark tool here.
Dragon Quest X is a bit of a departure from the traditional JRPG elements that built the series, but it has still been a huge success in Japan, with over 33,000 units of the Wii U version sold within its first week on sale, increasing hardware sales as it did so.
A PC version is nice and all, but it still isn't bloody coming out over here yet, is it? Get a move on, Square Enix.
