Finally, Square Enix has formally announced its mysterious... mystery game, Murdered: Soul Suspect. It's an action-adventure that centres on a deceased detective stuck in limbo, who won't find peace until he can deal justice to his killer from the other side.
As a spirit, detective Ronan O'Connor can freely explore the town of Salem, Massachusetts, and read the minds of its inhabitants as he tries to find clues to the whereabouts of his killer. Because he can't communicate or directly interact with the living, O'Connor must manipulate the thoughts of other characters. He also spends time talking to ghosts, which is nice.
The announcement for the game came after weeks of teasing on an official Square Enix website. It is not yet known what studio is behind development. Watch the video below.
