It seems that Steven Spielberg's Halo TV series won't be the only news Microsoft has in store for the franchise. 343 Industries, the studio now charged with creating the sci-fi games, is currently looking for a multiplayer designer. Yes, for a new Halo game."343 Industries is looking for an experienced designer to design and develop revolutionary new multiplayer experiences on an upcoming
Halo title," reads the
job listing. "As a member of the competitive multiplayer design team, you will help shape the future of the
Halo franchise on both current and future
Halo Titles."
The listing adds that successful candidates will require "experience with Forge and
Halo Custom Games," as well as "extensive competitive multiplayer experience from
Halo 1,
2,
3,
Reach, and
Halo 4." So basically, make sure you've played the
Halo series an awful lot.
Microsoft will be hosting its E3 conference next week, with a focus on games for its Xbox One console. With this news, we should expect to see
Halo appear in some form or another.
