A final date for Quantic Dream's latest was discovered in a television advertisement showcasing the PlayStation 3's upcoming releases. The October 11 date was confirmed by Sony, as was the US release date - October 8.
The game follows the release of Naughty Dog's The Last of Us and Sony Santa Monica's God of War: Ascension as part of a highly-impressive release schedule for the PS3, which will will take a bow in favour of the upcoming PS4 launch later this year. Gran Turismo 6 is also planned for a 2013 release on the current-gen platform.
