Troubled SimCity Going Down for Update
SimCity's latest incarnation getting a proper fix up
Maxis and EA's troubled SimCity launch - which did not lead to the resignation of its CEO at all - is to go down like a boxer from a bad movie tonight so that it can be patched-up, like a boxer from a cheap movie.
The game, which saw rumour and counter-rumour regarding its need for servers to play in the first place will be down from starting at 9pm GMT when EA/Maxis will "be releasing Update 2.0, which contains a number of top-requested bug fixes and improvements."
The full list of improvements is available here. And we, like everybody else, wish it to be a problem-free exercise in making things all better.
