Ubisoft has reacted to a breach of its uPlay DRM and digital distribution service, by disabling the platform entirely until it plugs the gaps that caused Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon to be downloaded early to a bunch of Russian hackers. If you
remember yesterday's gaffe, a number of enterprising Eastern Europeans was able to trick the uPlay service into believing that their accounts were authorised to play the
Far Cry 3 spin-off, along with a number of unreleased Ubisoft titles.
"[We are] aware of the issue and are working to resolve it quickly," the publisher told
Polygon. "No personal information was compromised. Uplay's PC download service will be unavailable until the problem is fixed however all other Uplay services remain available."
