Every day, I wake up and get a little sad, because Yakuza 5 hasn't been localised for the West. Now series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi is talking about the NEXT one in this week's issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Yakuza 5 only came out in Japan last December! It's like the man never sleeps.
The SEGA director teased some basic goals that his team wanted to accomplish with Yakuza 6. One being new innovations in the battle system, and an approach to development that will offer a more "physical experience".
Nagoshi also stated that Yakuza 5 will be the last game in the series to hit the PlayStation 3, suggesting that any future instalment will land on next generation platforms. He added that he will show the next "something" later this year. Post PS4 announcement, no doubt?
