Grand Theft Auto V Pushed Back to September
Who had a bet that Grand Theft Auto V would launch this Spring? You'd better make sure it wasn't made with real money - Take Two has confirmed that the upcoming Rockstar epic will be arriving worldwide on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.

To be fair, anyone who made such a bet can't exactly be blamed for it - previous promotional material did suggest that the game would be arriving in the next few months. And by Take Two's admission, it's a delay. "The September release date moves the launch back from its original projected release window of Spring 2013 in order to allow additional development time," reads a formal statement.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said, "Grand Theft Auto V continues to push the series forward in new ways; Rockstar North are creating our deepest, most beautiful and most immersive world yet. We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months."

Letting the hype train run a little longer could prove troublesome as well as beneficial. What do you make of the delay? Let us know in the comments box below.

Wow, I'll be getting my copy nearly a year after the pre-order :P. Should've known when they weren't showing any gameplay vids.
