Remember Flashback? Well, if reports are to be believed, the original creator is working on a remake for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Wii U and PC.
Details on the game, titled Flashback Origins, first surfaced on French website Gameblog, along with what is said to be the first screenshot of the platformer in action. As you can see, the remake will come with improved visuals and animations.
Paul Cuisset, the original developer of Flashback, is apparently behind the project with his studio VectorCell. Ubisoft is publishing the game, according to the report - but Ubisoft has declined to comment. Make of that what you will. It seems legitimate, but we're taking it with a suitable grain of salt nonetheless.
