Got a Windows 8 PC or tablet? Like the sound of the Xbox entertainment section, but not the sight of the lack of actual Xbox games on offer? Well, Microsoft is hoping to fix that with a new initiative called PLAY. This new service aims to bring Xbox Live Arcade games onto any Windows 8 device.
Fifteen games are compatible with the service, and will work on PCs and tablets including the Microsoft Surface. Like most Xbox Live Arcade games, they feature Achievements, leaderboards, online multiplayer and free trials.
Take a look at the list below - you'll notice that most of them, if not all of them, have been available for Windows 8 users since its launch window in around October. But Microsoft's promotional video, which is much more recent, suggests that PLAY is a new branding initiative to try and pump some interest into the work already done.
Don't be surprised to see more games made available over the coming weeks, as a result of the new branding and video promotion. Watch it below.
