Poor Wii U fans. First they get told that a Nintendo version of Crysis 3 isn't happening, and now they have to hear the same from Konami UK Studio head Dave Cox regarding Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.Cox, who also serves as the producer for the
Lords of Shadow series, responded to a fan on
Twitter who asked if the upcoming action title was heading for Wii U at all. "Sorry to disappoint you but no chance," was his response. No further reason was given.
Just like the previous title,
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is in development at Spanish studio Mercury Steam, and will be heading to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A version on PC is planned, but sadly for Nintendo owners there's no joy for the Wii U.
Still, at least there's
Castlevania: Mirror of Fate to look forward to on the 3DS.
