It has come to light that DMA, the developer behind the smash-hit, romp-em-up Grand Theft Auto 3, is working on two new GTA titles for PlayStation 2, all under the close scrutiny of Rockstar games.
The first game to be revealed is Grand Theft Auto Miami, which has been described as an add-on to GTA 3. The game takes place in the crime-littered backstreets of the shadier parts of the city, and concerns itself with trafficking, smuggling and all things generally criminal. Think of Scarface crossed with Monty Python and you should get the idea.
The next game to be released in the series for PS2 will be the brilliantly named Grand Theft Auto IV. Already in production at DMA, GTA IV will be a completely new game. Though scant details are available at this point, the new game is said to have online features and set across a huge game world.
More as we get it.
