Call of Duty: Black Ops II is released next Tuesday. But one UK retailer is being cheeky and guaranteeing delivery to customers on Monday - effectively breaking the game's street date.Early delivery times for online stores are nothing new, but SimplyGames.com is perhaps the first to boast about it. It has been telling customers on its website that it can offer "guaranteed Monday delivery" of Treyarch's upcoming FPS - and earlier in the day was even offering delivery for tomorrow (Saturday).
It's website lists the game as
shipping today, and on its
Facebook page stated that any orders "placed before 4.30pm today will be dispatched today for likely delivery via royal mail tomorrow or Monday. Express orders will be guaranteed Monday delivery".
Retailers are generally not allowed to break street dates, with those who do so usually punished. Time will tell whether Activision will take issue with SimplyGames' activity or if it will be happy to see eager fans get their hands on the game early.
