Firstly let us let Blizzard's marketing team absolutely gut what should be a madly joyous event of most of its humanity (or even Pandarity) with the following slab of icy description:
"Beginning on the evening of 24th September, key retail partners in the US, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and the region of Taiwan will welcome gamers who will be among the first to purchase and play the highly anticipated fourth expansion for the world’s most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game."
However, on the upside, "Members of the
World of Warcraft development team will be on hand at many of the official launch events to meet players and sign their copies of the game."
The UK event will take place in London (of course) at the Café de Paris at 3-4 Coventry Street, London, W1D 6BL from 8:00p.m on the 24th September.
"Attendees will be treated to a stage presentation featuring an evening of activities, special guests, giveaways, and entertainment -- including a Mists of Pandaria procession -- before the expansion goes on sale at 11:00 p.m." Fear not though, shops around the country will be opening at midnight in order to sell you copies of the expansion (suggested retail price £29.99) and the Collector’s Edition (suggested retail price £59.99).
