Namco: Final Fantasy Changes Driving Gamers to Tales
The older gamer apparently does not get emo FF
“Since the change in direction of Final Fantasy, many of the older fans of that series are now interested in the Tales of series.” So says Senior product manager at Namco Bandai Lauren Bradley.
But there is more than just nicking other JRPGs' elderly users, apparently Namco has realised the value in its own Tales games via the power of the free market - and eBay specifically.
Ms Bradley tells MCV, “Tales of Vesperia was regularly reaching £80 to 100 on eBay two years after release. We only shipped moderate day one quantities in the past – we will rectify this for the release of Tales of Graces f.”
So, yup, expect more Tales of games in the shops.
