LittleBigPlanet Vita and PS3 Get Costume Cross-Compatibility
New screens in place too, treat yourself.
This is one of those statements that seems too long-winded to make much sense outside of, "If you buy our DLC then you can use it because it scales properly on two of our platforms": Sony tells us that "LittleBigPlanet has DLC Costume Cross-Compatibility!"
The company even included the exclamation mark. Is this DLC cross-compat' being done for money? Certainly not! "We recognise this and have decided that we can’t ask all you LittleBigPlaneteers to fully enjoy the upcoming LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting without an amazing assortment of costumes at your disposal," says Sony.
It continues, "we’re going to let you bring the costumes that you bought for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 along with you…..for no extra cost!" Nice. You can't fault anybody for that.
There are caveats though, firstly that from the off not all costumes are going to be available for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting together.
While we're promised that they will all come, the same can't be said for costumes from Assassin’s Creed costumes (Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed II & Assassin’s Creed Revelations) "or the April Fools Fragrance Costume to LittleBigPlanet Karting at this time".
