UK Video Game Chart: London 2012 Stays Top With Huge Boost
As Team GB enjoyed a gold rush of Olympic medals over the weekend, SEGA maintained its winning position in the UK Video Game Chart. London 2012: The Official Video Game saw a sales boost of 88 per cent as the nation is hit with Olympic fever. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games holds its #3 position, with a 42 per cent sales rise.

Although Warner Bros' LEGO Batman 2 sold 15 per cent fewer units than last week, its overall sales count was enough to keep it sandwiched between the two SEGA sports games. Arkham City continued its sales boost on the back of Batman interest - thanks in no small part to the continued success of The Dark Knight Rises in cinemas.

New entries include Risen 2: Dark Waters and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which debut at #14 and #19 respectively.
