PlayStation Network is going under some serious maintenance tomorrow. It'll suck, for anyone wanting to go online on their PS3s for sure. But, Sony has revealed what will be waiting for us on the other side - a free-to-play third-person shooter for PlayStation Home called No Man's Land.
The game, developed by VEEMEE, pits players in a post-apocalyptic war for control of a savaged wasteland. On the PlayStation Blog, a "cover-to-cover movement system" is described as a "deliberate departure" from other third-person shooters. Your Home avatars will be used as playable characters in the game. Team Deathmatch and 'Scavengers' collect-a-thon modes are included.

PlayStation Home will also be beefed up with other new games following the PSN maintenance, includinga 100m Sprint challenge and Renegade Ops bonus items and arcade games by SEGA.
