Konami is to open a studio in London town, England to help it, to help Pro Evolution Soccer take on the might of EA's FIFA.
MCV has it that the new team will, "be the European wing of the Tokyo-based PES Productions which handles development duties of the football franchise."
It also cites job ads that state:
"PES Productions is opening a new 'Football game productions' in London in order to continue striving to reproduce European football culture at its best in their games. The production will create PES projects targeting high-end game consoles and PCs."
The reason? Maybe somebody thinks that England is a good place for football...
