ROLLING STAAAAAAAAA~ SEGA is bringing some classic Daytona USA flair to Namco Bandai's Ridge Racer on PlayStation Vita, as the famous Hornet race car is to be included in a special DLC package.
If your first thought is to start humming and singing those dulcet "Ohhhhhh~" tones to the Daytona USA theme tune, then you'll also be pleased to know that a special music track, called "RIDGE RACER USA MIX", is also being prepared. This Daytona USA remix is apparently a collaboration between Namco composer Hiroshi Okubo (Tekken, Klonoa, We Love Katamari) and original SEGA composer Takenobu Mitsuyoshi.
We've contacted Namco Bandai for comment as to whether the DLC will arrive to European storefronts. In the meantime, Japanese gamers can get the car and the remix on June 6th - ¥250 for the former and ¥150 for the latter.
