Call of Duty: Black Ops II Website Launches, Release Date Confirmed

Reveal of biggest game of the year comes too soon.

Activision has launched an official website for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Notice the Roman numerals in the title? Whoever predicted that change would happen, kudos to you! The site also confirms the game's release date - November 13th.

It looks like someone, again, has been too eager with the 'live' button - the only thing to see on the website is a reveal trailer, which is currently set to private. That suggests that perhaps this site (or maybe just the video) is not yet meant to be viewed by the eyes of commoners such as us just yet.

Black Ops II is set for a formal reveal later tonight. We've slapped the reveal trailer below, just so that you can view it here whenever someone gets round to flipping that switch. Visit the official website by clicking here.

The video doesn't work. It just says, "This video is private". I'm guessing you were asked to stop showing it?

As the news story says, it's still private - probably until the actual announcement is formally made later tonight. :) We've kept it embedded so that you don't have to fanny about on other sites when it does become available to watch.
