Christian Group Slams Hitler Killing Game as 'Sick'
Rebellion must be chuffed that its "Kill Hitler" add-on for Sniper Elite V2 (rated 'MA15+') has finally done its job and got at least one bunch of zealots up in arms.

It's got to be said, of course, that it's also giving us a story. So, let's get to it:

Australia's Herald Sun paper reports that:

"A CONTROVERSIAL new video game that allows players to assassinate Adolf Hitler and shows graphic X-ray footage of bullets tearing through flesh will be in the hands of our children this week."

Upper-cased "CONTROVERSIAL" and the use of "our children" is box-ticking wonderfully there. What's the story?

" Wallace, managing director of the Australian Christian Lobby, said the context of the violence was "rubbish" and the game should have been refused classification.

"It's sick ... we should be doing everything we can to ensure that the level of explicit violence isn't allowed to increase at a time when games are becoming more sophisticated, interactive and real," he said.

Killing Hitler is... a bad thing? What do you reckon? Tell us in SPOnG's Forum.

They didn't mention Hitler, did they? Thought they were worried about kids getting a violent game...despite a 15 rating.

In other news, a woman on BBC's The Big Question on Sunday blamed 'these games' on the Brevik killings and the murder of her own son. "They're all blaming these games, Brevik said he played them too". Her actual words! Well, near enough, it was a day ago now.

The thing with brevik is he said he used COD to train on. which means he was already crazy before he used COD as a tool. I bet he used a pen to draw out his plan as well. BAN PENS!!!...
I blame the gun club he joined and the fact he could buy enough guns and ammo to kill 70 people!!

Hitler was just a misunderstood artist. Rejection is the most brutal of human conditions and young Adolf underwent the metamorphosis into the monster of our historical lore by his rejection from art school. See him his happiest and read all about it at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2010/02/happy-little-hitler.html
