Looks like Epic Mickey 2 is definitely happening. If a premature announcement via the San Francisco Chronicle on Wednesday, coupled with screenshots, wasn't enough to confirm it, then this feature video, laced with gameplay footage, certainly will.
Warren Spector is on board once more with the sequel, titled The Power of Two, and it's got a bit more of a classic Disney edge to it. Specifically, the game is described as a 'musical.' Nothing much about the story has been revealed other than Mickey somehow finds his way back into the cartoon wasteland from the first game.
Epic Mickey 2 will be a fully-voiced, all-star Disney musical featuring drop-in and drop-out co-operative play. The second player will take control of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who can manipulate electricity with a remote control gadget. It'll break free from its Nintendo shackles and be released on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Likely with appropriate console-specific motion control support.
