Electronic Arts has announced that its war against inactive online gaming servers is far from over, with plans to take out even more of its servers in the coming weeks. Top of the list is EA Sports MMA, a game that was barely released two years ago and was the first to implement the publisher's controversial Online Pass system.
Quite how a number of people will feel about losing money for online access that lasts little over 17 months is something else entirely, but EA has supported past server closures with the fact that older titles simply do not get much - if any - online use. So really, it's your fault. Blame yourselves. Or something.
Burnout Revenge, BOOM BLOX Bash Party for the Wii (which we forgot even had an online mode) and iOS title Battlefield 3: Aftershock (a game that was pulled from the App Store recently) are among the games also affected. Full list below.
