Phantasy Star Online 2 is heading to PlayStation Vita, SEGA has announced today. The reveal comes from an official Sony PlayStation video that highlights upcoming Vita software.
The game was previously announced for the PC, and was thought to have been a computer-only release. In the trailer, series producer Sakai Satoshi said that Vita and PC players will use the same servers, and the same character can be used on both versions.
He also revealed that he wanted to release the game on a home platform. Whether that is realised by developing the Vita version or if there are plans to extend the game to Xbox and PlayStation consoles remains to be seen.
