Don't come! Don't come! Actually, come! SEGA is bringing back two of its classic House of the Dead light-gun games to the PlayStation Network. House of the Dead 3 and House of the Dead 4 will be getting reworked exclusively for the digital platform this Spring.
The games, released in 2002 and 2005 respectively, will have overhauled graphics, trophy support and Move compatibility. Which can only be a good thing, otherwise you're stuck having to use a controller. It's not like you can easily get a Guncon 3 anywhere these days. Sob.
While both titles were originally arcade releases, HotD3 found a home on the original Xbox in 2003. It featured "rescue event" gimmicks and a ranking system, along with a Boss Cancel bar that allowed you to avoid heavy attacks. HotD4 is considered quite a rarity and has never before seen a console release.
A teaser trailer for HotD3 can be seen below. Take a peek.
