Champions Online and Star Trek Online producer, Daniel Stahl has confirmed his return to Cryptic Studios following a brief stint with Zynga.

Zynga is currently attempting launching an IPO. According to Reuters, "The IPO would value the 5-year-old company, which made its name on viral games such as "FarmVille," at between $7.6 billion and $8.9 billion, catapulting it to the top of the U.S. game industry.

"Electronic Arts Inc has a market value of $7.73 billion, while Activision Blizzard Inc's is $14.21 billion.

Mr Stahl states on the Startrekonline forum that:

"...yes I am back at Cryptic Studios! My time at Zynga was fun and interesting, but I really missed working with my colleagues here. There is something magical going on at Cryptic these days and I'm very happy to be back working on the MMOs that I personally love to play. Being a part of Perfect World is having such a great positive impact on this company."

He will be Senior Producer "managing the Foundry (UGC) tools at Cryptic Studios."
