Ken Levine Talks Bioshock Infinite and a Lot of Sense
In a videogames landscape rapidly filing up with tepid, bland marketing heads spouting on about 'gamer experiences' and 'linear cinematics' it's a relief to have Gabe Newell, Tim Schafer and - right now - Bioshock's Ken Levine.

Ken's been talking to Lewis Denby at the Telegraph about Bioshock Infinite. He's also outlined his view of gaming's value as a story-telling device.

“We’re leaving a lot to the audience’s imagination,” he tells the Telegraph. “And I think a lot of people want that. There are some people, I’m sure, who want to be told a very specific story exactly the way the designer intended to tell it, and that’s fine. But I think that some people really appreciate being given that level of trust.”

He is less open to the idea that games can only be created and played in one way. To advocates of that he says, “Seriously, f--- those guys.”
