UK Video Game Charts: Forza 4 Kicks FIFA 12 Out
Forza Motorsport 4, the single-platform driving extravaganza for Xbox 360 that we loved so much in our review, has knocked the multi-platform footy fest FIFA 12 that we loved so much off the top of the UK Video Games Charts (by Gfk Chart-Track).

It's a narrow lead, however, with Forza beating FIFA to the #1 spot by a mere 700 sales. The soccer game experienced a 62% week-on-week drop in sales.

Chart-track breaks it down as follows:

‘Forza Motorsport 4’ claims the biggest launch week ever for an Xbox 360 racing game and is just one of 7 new entries in this week’s All Formats Top 20. In many ways it’s similar to the corresponding week last year when FIFA 11 also only held on to No1 for two weeks despite a hugely successful launch. It’s also uncannily similar to this week last year with ‘Just Dance 3’ debuting at No3 (the same as Just Dance 2). In a big week for new releases, ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2012’ is the next highest new entry at No5 (its predecessor was also at No5 in the chart this time last year, however it had launched a week earlier, debuting at No2).

Other newcomers are ‘Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge’ at No10 from Alternative Software, ‘Ace Combat: Assault Horizon’ at No12, ‘Dead Rising 2: Off the Record’ at No14 and ‘Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure’ at No16. Bethesda’s ‘Rage’ (-38%) slips 2 places to No4, while Namco Bandai’s ‘Dark Souls’ (-58%) falls 4 places to No7. ‘Zumba Fitness’ (-12%) hasn’t lost its grip on the Top 10 despite falling 2 places to No8, ahead of ‘F1 2011’ (-42%) at No9.
