PSN Import Section Launches With Three PSOne Titles
At last! Sony has officially launched its PSOne import section for the PlayStation Network, allowing console owners in Europe to finally get a taste of what Japanese gamers have been enjoying for decades. Arc the Lad, Cho Aniki and Arcade Hits: Sonic Wings Special are launch titles for the service.

The games are being handled by indie US publisher Monkey Paw Games, with translations into English where necessary. For the most part though, these games are untouched in their original Japanese form, and online guides are available for navigation purposes.

Arc the Lad is a fantasy RPG that has inspired the features of many of its modern-day successors with jumping and blocking to add strategic elements to gameplay. Cho Aniki is simply a bonkers shooter featuring many men in manly pants, while Sonic Wings is an action-packed top down blaster that tasks you with taking down an enemy called Fat Morgana. Quite.

While only PSOne titles are being considered for the Import section at present, there's a whole world of undiscovered PS2 games from Japan that many would love to see introduced too. But first things first - these three titles will hopefully land on the PSN Store later today.
