Gran Turismo 5 may well have been quite a while in the making (five years!) but that doesn't mean that Polyphony Digital is sitting around the studio making copious amounts of tea. The long-rumoured update for the game is due in the next few weeks.According to series producer Kazunori Yamauchi, the new "Spec 2.0" update will roll out worldwide sometime in the third week of October. There's also the promise of DLC due the week after the update but as for any further details of either the update or the new content? Not a word.
All we know that it's coming and that it's pretty big. We can pretty much guess there'll be new cars and tracks but how about new game modes? Will this technical tune-up boost the biggest driving game franchise's sales even further? We'll see when mid-October rolls around.
