Weeks turn to days, days turn to hours, and the release of Battlefield 3 draws ever closer. While most gamers will have to wait until the end of October, those who have pre-ordered it through EA's Origin portal should be receiving keys to the beta later on today. The beta will run on PS3, 360 and PC.
Owners of the last Medal of Honour release will also have access to the limited test. While pre-order folks get their keys via email (though we can't say exactly when they'll arrive, according to Gustav Halling from DICE it's all down to an automated system), MoH players will need to have entered the online code for the game on their account.
As players are gearing up for the fight between the two biggest shooters of the year, it'll be interesting to hear the first impressions of the thousands who get to try out the beta. Is this the year that finally sees Infinity Ward toppled? We'll know soon enough. In the meantime, behold the shiny footage below.
