Sega up for parent company buy-out as games business proper unfolds

Sega of Japan is poised to buy its parent company CSK in the next few months, according to Japanese reports. Sega, riding on the back of one of the most heart-warming of financial success stories in the industry history, has announced that it is in a position to buy CSK, the company that has funded Sega’s exploits for many years.

Though no official move has yet been made by either company, it is expected that CSK will declare that it wishes to use Sega’s strong branding in the technologies sector to underline its market presence.
