This weekend will be full of privileged gamers running around playing 'ASSASSINO,' as Ubisoft launches a multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed: Revelations on PlayStation Network. Only those with a PlayStation Plus account - or those signed up to Ubisoft's bizarre Uplay service - will be allowed access, though.
The beta runs from the 3rd September at 10am until the evening of 11th September, but you can download it now to prepare yourself. It'll include nine characters (Sentinel, Vanguard, Guardian, Vizier, Thespian, Deacon, Bombardier, Trickster and Champion) and three maps - Knight's Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople.
It won't just be social stealth and target assassination you'll be engaging in either. The beta contains the obligatory Wanted mode, but also includes Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault. Ubisoft teases that this content is only a small sample of what's to come in the final version.
Assassin's Creed: Revelations will be released on the 15th November, so if you have a PSN Plus account, best get on this now to get the jump on your mates.
