Quirky SEGA Arcade Game, Brick People, Heading to iOS
Walk like brick, talk like people.
SEGA has announced that it will be bringing its 2009 arcade build 'em up, Brick People, to iOS devices this Autumn.
In the original cabinet version, players had a tray of soft LEGO-style bricks with which they could stack in front of a screen to guide miniature characters to various foods around a given stage. It will be interesting to see how the experience feels when replicated with touch screen controls.
The iOS version will be available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in the Autumn, and will include wi-fi multiplayer and Game Center support. Sega Digital VP Haruki Satomi called the game "unique, but instantly accessible... It's a timeless activity that resonates with everybody, and we know it's going to translate well to touch-screens."
