Sony Kicks off Massive PSP Software Sale
Holy moly! Sony kicked off a massive sale on its digitally-distributed PSP catalogue yesterday, in a final push to promote the system ahead of the release of the WiFi-stripped E-1000 model. Which we have to say, is a bit ironic.

But we're not complaining in the slightest. Games that were once £23.99, such as Fate/Unlimited Codes, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, are now priced in much more sane ranges - £3.99, £9.99 and £11.99 respectively. GTA Vice City Stories is a mere £6.29 and Half Minute Hero can be downloaded for £8.99.

The full list of games can be found on the European PlayStation Blog, and the offers will run from 24th August to the 7th September. After that time, a second phase of the sale will start and the games on offer will switch around.

A shame it's quite temporary really, as this is the sort of price point these PSP games should really be hitting. Will you be enticed to get anything?
