You have to love Sony and Polyphony Digital for what they’ve done for the driving game. As well as consistently delivering industry-leading driving simulators, Sony recently announced that it will be releasing several budget priced mini titles, the first of which is Gran Turismo Concept.
GT Concept was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last month and features a whole heap of concept cars that were on display at the show. In a triumph of planning, engineering and gaming genius, this title will give PlayStation 2 owners the opportunity to drive the latest concept cars from the world’s leading manufacturers, even before the vehicle itself has gone into production.
Cars available for play include the new Mazda RX-8, the Mitsubishi Evo, the Protodrive Subaru Impreza WRX and the amusing little Daihatsu Copen.
Gran Turismo Concept gets a worldwide release early next year. And we can’t wait!
