EA's fantasy MMO, The Secret World, will open for Beta registrations on the 26th August, it was announced today.
Featuring a unique skill system and persistent player versus player battlefields - which sounds very typical of your MMO to be quite honest, but let's run with it - The Secret World sees users take the side of one of three secret societies in a seemingly never-ending war against the darkness. It looks rather pretty.
EA also announced at its Gamescom press conference that a PC release is scheduled for April 2012.
