Ubisoft has put a price to its online pass, dubbed the Uplay Passport, which apparently provides lots of 'extra value' but also has the added bonus of giving Ubisoft a way to extract some cash from the pre-owned market. The pass will be £7.99 to those that buy a pre-owned copy of a Ubisoft game, rather than getting a code in with a new copy of a game.We told you that the pass
will be introduced with Driver: San Francisco last week, but this is the first official word we've had on pricing. The pass will be introduced with "many of Ubisoft’s popular core games" over the coming months.
Ubisoft joins the likes of EA, THQ and Sony in introducing such a pass. The publisher says that the pass will "provide players with access to bonus content, exclusive offers, and online multiplayer play".
