What's happened: Peter Moore has shown off a new trailer for the new SSX game, showcasing colourful characters trying to pull off extreme tricks while surviving the elements. Avalanches and other natural disasters aplenty as players are seen doing insane twists and vaults over mountaintops.
Moore noted that the game was powered by an open world, using NASA snapshots to bring an accurate representation of the most dangerous areas in the world. It's coming out next January.
What Svend thinks: Now that's more like it! I absolutely hated last year's Call of Duty-inspired Deadly Descents trailer, but now it seems like EA has taken a much closer look at what makes SSX unique and brought it back. Now we just need some more extreme looking characters and Run DMC and we're gold.
