The bonkers zombie-filled Yakuza of the End spinoff has been given a release date in Japan - gamers in the Land of the Rising Sun can expect to shoot up the undead in sharp gangster suits from the 9th June.
SEGA has released a little more information on the game's weapon modification system. Defeated zombies on the streets of Kamurocho will spew out special items, which any of the four main characters can use to beef up their pop guns using the services of a chap called Kamiyama. Throwing weapons can also be purchased, including incendiary grenades. Toasty.
Originally delayed due to the impact of the Japanese Tsunami crisis, Yakuza of the End will have a retail 'tour' on the week following the game's launch. With all of the brands that SEGA has squashed into the Yakuza series, it's no wonder that there's a big marketing push for its sales success.
