If you're a director or a board member of a major corporation such as Sony, then one set of voices needs to be listened to: stock analysts. And some of these guys are not happy with Sony's management during this PSN crisis.Reuters reports Michael On, a fund manager at Beyond Asset Management, aiming his vitriol straight as Sir Howard Stringer, "The current CEO should step down after the hacker problems and the company's failure to push out products that are competitive."
The buck doesn't stop with Sir Howard, however, Kaz Hirai - the heir apparent to the top job at Sony - is also being caught in the fallout.
"The leadership of Sony is not in a good place right now, which could lead to Stringer stepping down and may sabotage Hirai's chances of succeeding as the CEO," says Mr On.
