No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture is preparing to host a charity event in Japan to raise money for the country's recent earthquake and tsunami crisis. The Grasstream 2: Travis Vs Garcia event will be streamed online in both Japanese and English, and will feature new information on
Shadows of the Damned along with a discussion panel for
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.
An iOS game,
Frog Minutes, has also been announced by Grasshopper. Details beyond the name and logo will be revealed at the 30th March showcase, but we do know that all proceeds from this new title will be going straight to earthquake relief efforts.
The show will also play host to live performances from J-pop duo Vanilla Beans and designer Kazutoshi Iida, along with a trailer for the Japanese localisation of
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.
Grasstream 2: Travis Vs Garcia will be taking place at the Shinjuku Loft Plaza One in Tokyo's Shinjuku district on 30th March, from 19:30 to 21:45. Tickets will cost ¥1,500 in advance and ¥2,000 on the door, and the studio will be offering
Japanese and
English Ustream pages.
