Japanese developer ChunSoft has announced that it will be releasing its Shiren series of RPG’s for the Dreamcast, just as the platform goes into its final death throes.
This news comes after Sega announced that it will considerably reduce the price of mastering Dreamcast software for the foreseeable future, enabling developers and publishers without that much cash to release games on a viable (?) commercial platform.
Sega is working co-operatively with ChunSoft to translate the game to English, and a European release is expected at the beginning of next year.
